Everything You Need To Know About The New Blackberry PRIVE Android Phone

Everything You Need To Know About The New Blackberry PRIVE Android Phone
BlackBerry is making a new phone that will run on the Android system, and it's named the BlackBerry Priv. BlackBerry has had a tough time in the mobile world in recent years, but it seems it is about to make a comeback. Read on for what we know so far about the BlackBerry Priv price, release date, specs, features and more.
A short-lived official BlackBerry pre-order page offered the Priv for US$749 (about #150,00), unlocked, and stated that it would operate on AT&T and T-Mobile networks. This page appeared on October 21, but was quickly taken down.
The pre-order page mentioned above stated that BlackBerry Priv orders in the US would ship on November 16. That's 10 days later than UK orders; phone retailer Carphone Warehouse listed the expected delivery date as November 6.
On October 15, BlackBerry launched a pre-registration page for the BlackBerry Priv. The page touts the phone's security, keyboard and various specs.
Aside from this dribble of information, the page provides a way for BlackBerry to measure public interest in the new device. Signing up to the mailing list promises the latest news on the device direct from BlackBerry.
